Interim, major and full car services

At CVS Motors, customers can book an interim, full or major service for their vehicle, depending on their annual mileage and use of their car. Each service levels builds on the next and more comprehensive checks and additional service checks are conducted the higher the mileage or time between services. An interim level service is usually recommended at 5,000 miles or after 6 months and a full service is conducted annually or at 12,000 miles. For a more comprehensive service, a major service is recommended every 2 years or 24,000 miles to check vital components such as the spark plugs that tend to wear over time.

MOT by arrangement – Class 4

If your MOT is due soon and you want to make sure it is conducted by an approved DVSA nominated tester, we’ll sort it out for you. We arrange MOTs for our customers with an expert MOT tester who’ll check your car to make sure that it adheres to safety and environmental road standards. We’ll take the stress out of your MOT test for you, by booking it in and arranging your car to be MOT tested.

MOT repairs and retesting

If you need repairs in order for your vehicle to pass its MOT test, we can provide accurate recommendations and quotes so you can see what lies ahead. We’ll run through in detail the next steps and make sure you’re 100% happy before going ahead with any repairs. We can fit and supply quality parts for your vehicle to make sure it runs smoothly and last longer. We’ll even arrange a retest for you within 10 working days of your first MOT.

Collection and delivery

To make your life even easier, we offer free collection and delivery if you book your MOT and service with us at CVS Motors. We’ll come and collect your car, conduct your MOT or service and then drop it off at the end of the day. We’ll let you know if additional repairs are needed and won’t do any work without your approval first.
